The wiki's just been made, and there's already a second Crash Bandicoot character being proposed? I know, crazy, but both Crash and his sister counting as Sonic Expies would be hilarious.
Just so you know, I'm proposing the reboot version of Coco specifically, because she feels more Sonic-like to me.
What's the work?[]
Crash Bandicoot is a video game series. You know, mad scientist mutating Australian wildlife which then turns on him and foils his world domination plans, that kind of story.
The character[]
Coco Bandicoot is the deuteragonist of the series. She is Crash's younger sister, meant to take his place as Neo Cortex's right-hand (wo)man after he escaped, but ended up escaping as well. In the second game, she lets Crash know of Cortex's true plans to enslave humankind. In the third one, she joins him on a quest through time to stop Cortex and Uka Uka from conquering the universe. And in the fourth one, she and Crash stop Dr. N. Tropy from destroying the multiverse itself.
SE qualities[]
Basic[]
- Heroic: Well, you know, always helps her brother out on the world-saving stuff, sometimes even going into action herself.
- Energetic: Not as much as her brother, but her animations imply that she likes taking action no less than spending time in front of the monitor. Even without that, she's shown to be an eager gamer.
- Confident/Cocky: Starting with It's About Time, she seems to have gained a snarky side, talking about how she and Crash are used to beating N. Gin, and describes foling evil plans as "the usual" for the siblings.
- Humorous: Listed in the "Confident" section, she mocks N. Gin's tendencies to lose by describing them as an "estabilished dynamic". Adding to it, she is easily amused by Crash's and villains' antics, and jokingly suggests that she and Crash are dead in Alt-Tawna's home dimension.
- Dynamic: See "Energetic" above. She also feels excited about fighting villains at times, even if she takes their threat seriously, like suggesting to "kick some N. Tropy butt".
- Playful: Again, some of her animations, like selfies, or her own Crash dance, or imitating a Quantum Mask while speaking with Alt-Tawna.
- Protective: She grows attached to the alternate universe Tawna and is visibly concerned when she sees her hurt.
- Determined: I don't think Coco knows the definition of the word "fail". When her brother doesn't listen to her and keeps following Cortex's advice, she keeps persuading him not to. When N. Tropy reveals his omnicidal plans, she instantly tells Cortex that she and Crash may get to him first.
8 in total, baseline crossed I guess. Next:
Bonus[]
- Speedy/Agile: Like her brother, she is quite speedy (can't say that about WoC, huh?) and capable of inhuman fits of agility, including the Spin Attack.
- Breakdancer: Has her own version of the Crash dance.
Verdict?[]
Tentative yes.
